Devour Indy Summerfest 2026: Every Midtown Carmel Menu, Date, and Time

Published August 17, 2026

Two weeks. Seven Midtown restaurants. One very good excuse to eat out more than you probably should. Devour Indy Summerfest runs August 24 through September 6, 2026, and Midtown Carmel is showing up in force — tapas on Main Street, a 21-and-over steakhouse lounge on Rangeline, and a whole cluster of City Center dining rooms doing prix-fixe menus you won't see again until winter.

What Devour Indy Actually Is

Devour started back in 2005 as Devour Downtown, a winter restaurant week with about 25 downtown Indianapolis restaurants. It worked, so it multiplied — Northside Nights launched in 2009, ChowDown Midtown in 2010, and for a few years Indy had three separate neighborhood restaurant weeks running at different points on the calendar. In 2017 all three merged into a single citywide event, Devour Indy, now organized by Hospitality Indiana and running twice a year — once in winter, once in summer.

Today it's 200+ participating restaurants offering specially priced, multi-course menus. The intent has always been twofold: get diners to try restaurants they'd normally drive past, and drive traffic to the hospitality industry during slower stretches of the year. No coupon, no pass, no ticket — you just show up and ask for the Devour menu. Reservations aren't required, but for the Midtown spots on this list they're strongly recommended. This year's edition is presented by AAA Hoosier Motor Club, and there's also a citywide Cocktail Trails competition running alongside it where you can vote for your favorite drink.

Matador — 10 E. Main St.

$39 per person. Open daily at 4 p.m. (Mon–Thu to 9, Fri–Sat to 10, Sun to 8:30). The Spanish tapas spot on the Main and Rangeline corner built the smartest menu of the bunch: one drink, one main, two tapas. Drink options include El Coto white Rioja or Rioja Crianza, a blanco sangria, a Modelo, or a non-alcoholic pear-lavender faux-jito. Mains are the wagyu Hamburguesa, fried chicken Pollo, a wagyu-and-chorizo meatball, or a gruyère grilled cheese. Then pick two from twelve tapas — dates wrapped in chorizo and jamón, shishito peppers, mushroom or jamón croquettas, patatas bravas, honey-glazed carrots, brussels sprouts, fried or sautéed shrimp, empanadas, or mac and cheese.

Woodys Library Restaurant — 40 E. Main St.

$29 three-course. Opens daily at 11 a.m., and here's the key detail: Devour deals are available all day, not just at dinner. Start with the berry and chevre salad or a house salad, then choose pan-seared mahi mahi with smoky barbecue glaze and pineapple relish, or beef stroganoff over egg noodles. Dessert is chocolate sheet cake or peach cobbler with butterscotch bourbon glaze (à la mode +$2). There's also a Devour feature starter — jerk shrimp skewers, $13.95.

divvy — 71 City Center Dr.

$29 dinner, $17 lunch, $15 Saturday brunch. Open Mon–Fri 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Sat 10 a.m.–10 p.m. (21+, or 16 with a guardian). The dinner menu is a starter, an entrée with a side, and a dessert — deviled eggs, muhammara, whipped feta, berry crunch salad, dynamite shrimp dip, or bruléed brie to start; brisket tacos, Swedish veggie balls, lobster mac, chicken kebobs, killer cheeseburgers, or Baja fish tacos to follow; chocolate pâté, biscuit beignets, crème brûlée, or wild punch sorbet to close. Lunch (11–2) is the $17 Midday Magic tour board, and Saturday brunch (10–2) is the $15 Morning Glory board — five sampler portions each.

1933 Lounge — 175 S. Rangeline Rd.

Lunch $19–$25; dinner priced by entrée ($48–$72). Open Mon–Thu 11 a.m.–10:30 p.m., Fri–Sat to 11:30, Sun noon–9. 21 and over only. The lunch plates are the Executive ($25), the Director ($22), and the Intern ($19). Dinner is a three-course build: St. Elmo shrimp cocktail or spinach and artichoke dip, then Caesar or navy bean soup, then filet mignon, prime rib, grilled salmon, or roasted chicken. Book Monday through Wednesday and you get an additional $10 off the Devour dinner.

Salt at Carmel City Center — 11 City Center Dr.

Priced by entrée, $39–$50. Mon–Thu dinner 4–9 p.m.; Fri–Sat lunch/brunch 11–3, dinner 4–10; Sun lunch/brunch 11–3, dinner 4–7:30. Course one is a buttermilk wedge or chopped Caesar; course two is salmon piccata ($50), quarter chicken ($42), a sunomono roll ($39), or spicy seafood pasta ($42); course three is cheesecake with mixed berries or two French macarons. Add crab or lobster Oscar ($16) or seared scallops ($17).

Vivante @ Hotel Carmichael — 1 Carmichael Sq.

$65 per person, or $105 with sommelier wine pairings. Dinner only (kitchen 5–10 p.m.). Start with a garden salad, Caesar, shrimp cocktail, or French onion soup; then yuzu ravioli, bone-in pork chop, or chicken piccata; then the Cornmichael for dessert. The priciest Devour menu in Midtown, and the only one with a pairing option.

Hanami Sushi & Sake Bar — 703 Veterans Way

Hanami is listed as participating, but its Devour menu is posted only as an image and the page hasn't been updated since the winter season — so call ahead at 317-799-1515 to confirm what they're running. Hours are Mon–Thu 11 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and 4:30–9 p.m., Fri to 10, Sat 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Sun noon–9 p.m.

One more thing: restaurants are still being added right up to opening day, so this list may grow. Check devourindy.com/menus before you plan your week — a few more Midtown spots could post Summerfest menus between now and August 24.

Plan Your Two Weeks

If you're doing this properly: Woody's for a $29 lunch, divvy's Saturday brunch board for $15, 1933 on a Monday for the extra $10 off, and Vivante when you want to make a night of it. Every one of these is walkable from the Monon, which means you can stack two in an evening. Reservations open now — book before the good tables go.
