Fall Back, Perk Up: The Espresso Martinis We've Had in Midtown Lately
Published October 30, 2026
The clocks fall back this Sunday, November 1, which means it'll be dark before 6 p.m. and every one of us will need a little help staying out past dinner. Good news: Midtown is full of espresso martinis. Here are the ones we've had around the neighborhood lately — pick your favorite for this weekend.
Ristorante Roma
Tucked onto Veterans Way just off Main Street, chef-owned Roma pours the Espresso Martini Bliss. It's the natural way to finish a plate of handmade Roman pasta, or to stand in for dessert entirely.
SALT at Carmel City Center
The newest spot on this list, SALT wraps the corner of City Center Drive and Rangeline. Sit up at the bar after a seafood dinner, or take your martini somewhere you can watch the crowd heading to the Palladium.
Savor
Savor at 211 W. Main does wood-fired Italian. After a pizza and a glass of red, an espresso martini makes the ideal last course.
101 Craft Kitchen
Last we checked, 101 Craft Kitchen built theirs on Wheatley Vodka, Kahlua, Averna Amaro and Hubbard & Cravens espresso. Their covered patio has a fireplace and stays open all year, so this is the move once it gets cold.
Anthony's Chophouse
Anthony's takes its martinis seriously enough to call it “Tini Time.” Grab a seat at the bar, our favorite spot in the building, and let the bartender take it from there.
Divvy
Divvy in City Center is a shared-plates place with a huge covered patio, fire pit tables and a view of the Palladium. Order a few plates, then an espresso martini by the fire.
The GOAT
Right on the Monon, The GOAT is best known as a tavern-style bar with smash burgers and trivia. Don't overlook the espresso martini, though, especially if you want to stay for one more round.
Pick Your Fall-Back Pour
Halloween is Saturday and the extra hour of sleep comes Sunday, so you've got the perfect excuse to try one (or two) this weekend. Looking for more? Our original espresso martini guide covers 1933 Lounge, Adagio, Sun King and more, and you can find even more on the Espresso Martini layer of the CarmelBuzz Map. Tell us which one you're having, and who we still need to try.
